Frequently Asked Questions

What do the initials MMP mean?
MIRACLE MINERAL POWER!!

I have been taking MMP for a while.  At first my pH went up but now it has dropped to where I was when I started. What does this mean?
Your saliva pH can and will fluctuate. This is normal and not something to be concerned about. That is why it is important to test your saliva pH for one week before starting the MMP protocol to establish a baseline. Once you incorporate MMP into your regimen, you will see your pH go up but it often is not a steady climb. Your pH will fluctuate a bit.  These fluctuations are a reflection of several things. If your food intake the day before included acidic foods your pH may dip.  Stress can also cause you pH to drop.

Another possibility has to do with the viscosity of your lymph.  As discussed earlier, as lymph becomes acidic it also thickens and stops flowing creating pockets of stagnant acidic lymph. As your pH begins to increase these areas begin to loosen and flow releasing old acidic lymph. This is a good sign that the process is working but it will cause your pH measurement to dip temporarily.  The important thing is that you see a steady increase in your pH reading.

I take vitamins that contain minerals – why do I need MMP?
Vitamin supplements are just that - vitamins.  Often the secondary minerals are included but not the primary minerals.  Your body cannot produce minerals.  MMP Solutions provides the Primary and Trace minerals essential to good health. In addition, the MMP Protocol is designed to re-alkalize the system thereby making other supplements you take more effective.

How long will it take to raise my lymph pH?
You will see your pH begin to rise immediately.  However, each individual is unique and the time it takes to reach the optimum level of 7.4 will vary.

I am taking Coral Calcium and my pH is 6.9 – why should I switch?
Your lymph pH should be 7.4. Lower readings indicate either an inability to absorb or an ineffective supplement.  Switch to MMP and watch your pH levels rise. Please refer to the test results comparing absorbability of MMP to Coral Calcium capsules
(
see the Calcium Story).

What do I do when my pH is consistently above 7.0?
The goal is to maintain a lymph pH of 7.4.   Once this level is attained, you may experiment with decreasing the amount of MMP Primary Minerals that you take.  Continue to monitor your pH daily.  If your pH drops, return to the recommended daily dosage of MMP.

MMP contains Calcium Carbonate.  I have been advised by my nutritionist to avoid Calcium Carbonate. I don’t get it!  Can you explain it?
Calcium Carbonate, when used alone, requires sufficient stomach acid in order to be digested and absorbed.  Without sufficient stomach acid one may experience gas and/or constipation.  Because so many people have “maladapted systems” some nutritionists recommend other supplements that do not require additional stomach acid.  However, insufficient stomach acid is an indication that the system is out of balance and absorption will be a problem no matter what you ingest.  MMP Primary Minerals provides the four primary mineral carbonates that function synergistically in a way that NO OTHER minerals can, to restore and maintain the health of human physiology. Our unique manufacturing process, in concert with Betaine-Hydrochloride nearly eliminates the possibilities of forming gas. In addition, we recommend that MMP Primary Minerals be taken with a meal to stimulate the stomach to produce the additional stomach acid needed to increase absorption.

Do I need to take other supplements?
A general multi-vitamin supplement is always a good idea.  In addition, many of these formulations will include some secondary minerals that are not always found in sufficient amount in the foods we eat. Lastly, each person is an individual and may find that they have specific conditions that may heal faster if they add appropriate specific supplements to their MMP Regimen.

How does MMP Primary Minerals build resistance to chronic degenerative diseases?
MMP is a powerful tool to rebalance the acid-alkaline balance in the body.  Once rebalanced, the immune system has the greatest capacity to resist infection/viruses etc.   MMP provides the support for the body to become slightly alkaline, thereby allowing it to function optimally.

I have high cholesterol – will MMP reduce my cholesterol?
Not directly.  However, once the acid-alkaline balance has been reestablished in the body, the natural processes of balancing LDL and HDL in the blood will proceed much more easily.  Thus, over time, individuals who follow the MMP regimen will usually find that their blood lipid chemistry can return to a healthy state.
